The host was George Gray, a comedian.  He played it too much for laughs (his comedic background instincts, I'm sure) and was very loud by times.  That being said, he was a good host and was very likeable.  A very comendable job.  Cathy Rogers, though, was on hand to lend a little British civility to the proceedings.

This series also has the Goldberg-esque countdown clock but also seems to serve as a timer.
