Series 2 sees some "dramatic" changes. First, we have a new co-host in producer Cathy Rogers. Secondly, a real set!  Actual walls and a floor, amazing. Also, Robert has a better perch (and a short haircut) from which to watch the teams build. There is also a Goldberg-esque contraption that signals the start of building time. Someone also gave Robert a bullhorn...not the best idea. He also had a computer that displayed how the professional machines look and sometimes a short history of the machine.

We also have 8 new teams with 2 returning captains. Colonel Dick Strawbridge (got a promotion) leads 'Brothers In Arms' and "Bowser" Munson heads up The Bodgers. This time, it's a single elimination tournament with 7 machines to build.

Finally, the teams get proper "uniforms". Boilersuits in the team's color.
